FETAC Train the Trainer

AWARDING BODY: FETAC - Further Education and Training Awards Council

The course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training programmes.
It also provides a recognised qualification for those working in a training capacity.


Course Duration 

  • 4 Days(9.30am - 5pm)

Course Objectives 

  • Understand the qualities and skills required for effective instruction.
  • Understand different learning styles and be familiar with the basic principles of instruction.
    Know how to plan and prepare lesson plans and deliver practical training
  • Learn how to conduct training needs analysis
  • Develop self confidence in presentation and delivery techniques.
    Know how to supervise trainee practice, evaluate and assess the training and keep training records
  • Gain practical experience of preparation, delivery and evaluation.

Qualification

  • FETAC Level 6 ‘Train the Trainer’ Component Award (E30179)

    Credit Value: One credit at FETAC level 6.
