Mobile Elevated Work Platform Course (MEWP)

Course Introduction

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 require employers to provide training for all employees who operate a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP). The course is relevant for new or existing operators who require certification.

NOTE:  Training only provided on-site in a Customer's Premises.

Course Duration & Number of Operators

  • Duration: 1 Day

  • No. of operators: 6 maximum for 1 machine
  • 3 maximum for 2 machines

Course requirements:

Each operator requires a hard hat, safety shoes, Hi-Vis Vest and Safety Harness

Learning Objectives:

On completion of this course participants will be able to:

 · Operate a MEWP safely and correctly in accordance with the

   Manufacturer’s handbook

 · Clearly understand the causes of instability while operating a MEWP

 · Correctly perform a pre-use inspection of the MEWP

 · Work safely at heights
