FETAC Award in Managing People

This course is designed to enable learners to practice effective supervisory management skills, to appreciate the value of effective and open communication within organisations, to develop strategies for staff support and empowerment, to understand the importance of effective relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and to demonstrate effective conflict resolution and mediation skills.

  • 7 - 9:30pm

Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should preferably have a good working knowledge of English, have a leaving certificate or equivalent qualification and / or relevant life and work experiences.

Award

A FETAC Certificate of Achievement will be issued following the validation of results by FETAC and the appropriate credit under the National Framework of Qualifications will then be obtained by the candidate. 

National Framework of Qualifications: Course is a level 6 component award which qualifies as 1 credit towards FETAC level 6 Certificates and is a recognised module within the National Framework of Qualifications.
