The Foundation Certificate in Financial Management is part of the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) Suite of Awards.
The Foundation Certificate in Financial Management is suitable for those working or wanting to work in a specialist role in financial management and who wish to take an introductory level qualification in this area.
It provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to examine all aspects of cash and working capital management.It also develops an understanding of the way organisations finance their operations and plan, allocate and control resources to optimise returns.
No previous academic or accountancy qualifications are required to study for this qualification.
Students must also complete:
A professionalism and ethics module called Foundations in Professionalism.
This can be completed on the ACCA website before or after the exams (no fee applies).

One Semester: September to December
One night per week
Exam: December
ACCA registration / membership / exam entry
All students must register directly with the ACCA for membership as a FIA student (Foundation in Accountancy).
