This FETAC level 5 accredited course will develop learners as Occupational First Aiders.
The course runs in accordance with the Health & Safety Authority Guidelines and is accredited by FETAC. Assessment is carried out in accordance with FETAC guidelines and regulations. Certification is valid for two years.

Those who successfully pass the Examinations will be issued with an Occupational First - Aid Certificate recognised by the Health & Safety Authority and FETAC.
The certificate is valid for two years and indefinately on attending a one day refresher every two years.
At the end of the course the participant will receive a pro forma letter indicating that he or she has attended the course and passed the assessment pending the receipt of the FETAC certificate.
Thereafter when the First Aider completes a one day refresher course every two years they will receive a certificate from the training provider, as FETAC does not issue refresher certificates.
