Safety RepresentativeEmployees at a place of work are entitled to select and appoint one of their colleagues to act as a safety representative. It is essential therefore that the safety representative has the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the function effectively. They should understand and be knowledgeable about safety and health matters so as to make a responsible and practicable contribution to safety and health issues in the workplace. Course Duration

CertificationParticipants are awarded a Safety Representative Certificate on completion of the course.
Our public course is aligned with the FETAC Safety and Health at Work level 5 component certificate. This option is also available for in company courses.
A FETAC Certificate of Achievement will be issued following completion of all assessments and validation of results by FETAC and the appropriate credit under the National Framework of Qualifications will then be obtained by the candidate.
National Framework of Qualifications: Course is a level 5 component award which qualifies as 1 credit towards FETAC level 5 Certificates and is a recognised module within the National Framework of Qualifications.
